Agency Ordered to Pay $4.5M in Fees After Sexual Harassment Case Dropped

A federal district court judge in Iowa ordered the EEOC to pay $4.56 million in attorneys’ fees and expenses to a Cedar Rapids trucking company after the court dismissed the agency’s sexual harassment lawsuit. The fee award may be the largest ever imposed by a federal court.
