Professional Experience & Goals:
Dee Woodhull is a Director of Safety, Health, and Environmental Networks with ORC Worldwide. Ms. Woodhull focuses on management of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) issues from a global perspective. She co-leads the ORC International Safety and Health and Executive Business Issues Forums, and plays a leading role in the direction of the ORC Asia-Pacific HSE Service. As a consultant, Ms. Woodhull focuses on industrial hygiene and safety management issues, playing a lead role in the Fatality and Serious Injury, Metrics, Nanotechnology, Respiratory Protection, and Hexavalent Chromium task forces. Ms. Woodhull is certified in the comprehensive practice of Industrial Hygiene, and is a Certified Safety Professional. * In her 30 years of experience in the Environment, Health and Safety arena, she has held positions in both corporate Health and Safety management and operating-level industrial hygiene positions in Fortune 100 global corporations, and has served as an OSHA field compliance officer. * Ms. Woodhull has served on the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as a Board Member, and on the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene Council as a Councilor, in addition to AIHA local section offices. * She holds a Master of Science in Public Health in Environmental Health from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Bachelor of Science with High Honors in Biology from the College of William and Mary. * She is the author, with Fred Toca, of the book “Managing People and Programs in Industrial Hygiene,” in addition to a number of published articles on occupational safety and health topics.
