Professional Experience & Goals:
Susan Carter, a Principal at Mercer, is co-chair of the Cowdrick Group, Senior HR Officers' Network, HR Leaders' Network, Global Talent Management Network, and HR Technology Solutions Network. In addition, Ms. Carter provides intellectual capital and consulting in talent and human captial management.
Prior to joining Mercer, Ms. Carter spent 20 years in corporate human resources with ABN AMRO Bank, United Healthcare, and GATX Corporation. At ABN AMRO she held the post of vice president, professional development for North America, where she was responsible for providing development strategy, processes and programs for North American operations. At United Healthcare she held the post of manager of human resources development. Most recently, at GATX Corporation she held the post of director, human resources and head of organization development. Ms. Carter has a B.S. degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of New Haven.
