Professional Experience & Goals:
Deirdre Golden is based in the Mercer London office, working with organizations in the private and the public sector in Europe to address the equality and diversity agenda in employment and in the global environment through confidential employer networks and consulting support and solutions. Ms. Golden has worked in financial services, IT, and the public sector, with specialism in employee relations, employment policy, and equality and diversity. In addition, Ms. Golden has comprehensive human resources management experience, both operationally and strategically, as well as from an external community-based perspective Prior to her time at Mercer, she was board director of the West Euston Partnership, a government-funded, public and private sector regeneration partnership in the London Borough of Camden, where she worked with a wide range of stakeholders in developing the strategy for the partnership. Ms. Golden has a Master's Degree LLM (Employment Law), University of Middlesex and a B.A. (Honours) in Economic and Political Sociology, University of East Anglia. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and the U.K. National Working Group on the European Commission's "For Diversity Against Discrimination" campaign.
