Fleur Bothwick Director, Diversity and Inclusiveness-EMEIA, E&Y

ORC’s research and that of others in the field indicates that subtle forms of exclusion continue to have an impact on who is motivated, who succeeds, and who remains with any organisation.  Mary will provide an overview of unconscious bias, describe a systemic approach to addressing it, and offer some opportunities for attendees to build their own competency and toolkit in this area. Fleur will present a practical example of what organisations can do, and what they can teach employees to do, to diminish the impact of unconscious bias.  She will explain why E&Y decided to build an e-learning module dealing with unconscious bias as part of the company’s performance management process.
