Former Groupon sales representative claims overtime

A former Groupon sales representative is seeking class action status for claims that she and other inside salespeople were not paid overtime, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Ranita Dailey’s lawsuit alleges the company didn’t pay overtime to any inside salespeople, from its founding three years ago until March 2011. The lawsuit also claims that Groupon -- in attempts to resolve the issue -- improperly calculated overtime payments due, basing them only on employee salaries, rather than on salaries and commissions.
