Delaware introduces civil unions bill

A comprehensive civil unions bill (SB 30) which would give same-sex couples all of the rights, benefits and obligations of marriage, but would not allow them to obtain a marriage license, was introduced March 22 in the Delaware legislature. Delaware Governor Jack Markell has expressed his support for the bill.
