  • 2.30 pm The Equality Mark ™ © was established in 2007 to provide a framework to support the development of fair practices in employment and public services, it is awarded to organisations following a rigorous validation process.
    • Dr. Stuart Speeden Director for the Centre for Local Policy Studies and his associate Nasreen Kaleem joined us at the Breakthrough meeting to discuss the Equality Mark, its application to current equality themes and climates and how it is supporting equality management and progression within organisations at a number of levels.

  • 3.30 pm Disabled Employee Networks - a practical guide (Coming Soon)
    • Kate Nash, OBE, Kate Nash Associates
    • This guide is being launched in 2009 and is specifically designed to help organisations set up disabled employee networks. It features a 10-point plan and case studies to guide those involved in setting up networks. Kate gave us practical guidance on how to set up networks and/or improve upon those already set up.
