Global Talent Management (GTM) Meeting

Event Date:
Thu, 09/30/2010 - 08:00 - 16:45
Location:
Dell Headquarters - Round Rock, Texas

The Global Talent Management Network (GTM) is a small group of senior talent management leaders in large multinational organizations.  We meet twice a year in person, and virtually at other times, to share the strategies and practices that are proving successful in members’ companies.

Our theme for the Talent Management as a Driver of Organizational Culture meeting on September 30th at Dell Corporate Headquarters in Round Rock, Texas will be the role talent management plays as a driver of organizational culture. We’ll also hear from members about initiatives they’ve undertaken to transform their cultures, and we’ll dedicate time for roundtable discussion of the pressing issues members are dealing with in their organizations.

What you’ll find unique and useful about the GTM Network is:

·         Size: the small group allows for a much deeper level of discussion then one usually finds in larger conferences and makes it easy to build personal relationships with co-members

·         Confidentiality: because of the level of trust among the members, they talk quite freely about their strategies and programs—both what has worked and what has not and what challenges they are facing

·         High level of experience in the room: membership is restricted to senior corporate talent management leaders in very large multinational companies such as Royal Dutch Shell, Unilever, Mattel, and American Express.
